John R. Miles is the founder and CEO of Ovesto with a big vision to radically change the way organizations recruit their employees – from “owning” their talent to accessing it on-demand. Throughout his career, John witnessed the War for Talent, and the difficulty most companies have acquiring top-notch leaders.
He works with organizations as a business transformation expert, and coaches leaders to problem solve, think differently, and breakthrough, maximizing their performance – no matter how successful they already are. John graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he learned vital leadership skills and was a multi-sport Division 1 athlete. Prior to him starting Ovesto, he was the President and CEO of Genius Central Systems, the Chief Digital Officer for Catalina Marketing, the Chief Information Officer for Dell, Associate Publisher for Bold Business, the Chief Information Security officer for two Fortune 500 companies and began his career in management consulting after leaving active service.
John has written hundreds of articles on business disruption, leader service, and futurism and is a sought after speaker on these topics. He is a recipient of many awards, including the ComputerWorld Premier 100 Technology Leaders Award.

Chief Marketing Officer and Fractional CMO
Michelle Frome is an award-winning entrepreneur with diverse and broad-based expertise in strategy, business development, operations, product management, and marketing.
Over the last 14 years, she has worked with startups and small to mid-sized businesses to penetrate new markets to ensure sustainable revenue growth. She has a proven ability to quickly analyze key business drivers and develop and execute rapid go-to-market strategies as well as increase revenue through existing products.
Michelle is known for using innovative thinking, creativity, and countless resources to quickly put her clients on the map within their known markets in a fraction of the time that it takes traditional agencies to do so.
Ms. Frome is charged with developing and executing Ovesto’s marketing strategy that will support aggressive company growth and create strong brand awareness and reputation.
Additionally, she performs CMO assignments as a fractional or interim leader charged with maximizing profits and improving customer satisfaction.
James “Jamie” R. Pews
Chief Financial Officer and Fractional CFO
Jamie is responsible for the financial-related activities at OVESTO and supporting our transformational leader network. This includes accounting and financial reporting, tax planning, client billing, leadership consulting, and risk management.
Jamie has a Deloitte pedigree and CPA background, which led him to United Rentals (“URI”), where he supported the M&A team and reported directly to the CFO. He is also known for having founded and patented The Startup Store, which offers a wide array of startup consulting services to high-growth ventures. The Startup Store also services the Tampa and Atlanta markets and has begun building a team in Dallas as well. Jamie currently serves as a interim financial executive at Webtalk.
Jamie is a certified CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) and is a Dale Carnegie Course graduate. He earned an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan, where he graduated with honors as well as graduating Summa Cum Laude in Accounting from Northern Michigan University.
Jamie loves living in downtown St Petersburg, financially supports the Tampa Bay Innovation Center, and is an avid golfer and member of the St Petersburg Country Club.
